You're the next contestant on ... The Price Is Right. Oh how I dream of hearing my name being called. I am a lifetime fan of TPIR. "Lifetime" meaning ever since I can remember watching television. I even went so far as to construct my own Plinko board at the age of 6. When Chris & I were in Las Vegas in October of '03, I played The Price Is Right nickel slots. Yea. It was awesome.
Are you a TPIR fan? Do you have a favorite game? Have you ever been to the show? Know anyone whose won? Inquiring minds want to know. Okay, maybe just me, but still.
In scrappy news, my Studio Calico kit was destroyed en route to Arizona. Destroyed meaning it WENT UP IN FLAMES. Apparently, the UPS trailer transporting it caught fire. Thankfully, no one was injured. Crazy, huh? Good thing the customer service at Studio Calico is top-notch. I have a replacement coming. I'm not the only one whose kit is in ashes. There were 9 of us. RIP Apple Orchard Kit. I kid, but I don't. All you scrappers out there understand. New, cutting edge, super cute scrapbook product is priceless!
So, leave me a comment. Share your fave TPIR game, memory. Share anything. I will draw a winner by this Sunday (Father's Day).
Here's my RAK:
It's rather Summery, don't ya think? There are some 'oldie but goodie' patterned papers, a 7 Gypsie's Accordion Purse, Loteria cards, vintage buttons/ribbon slides, labels, & a piece of oil cloth.
Hope you like.
I haven't been into TPIR, but for its short duration, I really enjoyed The Weakest Link. So sorry to hear about your SC kit. What a lovely RAK you're offering, how sweet of you!

I'm a fellow TPIR fan...though not as much now since Bob Barker is gone. Never been much of a Drew Carey fan. During the summer, my brother and I would watch it every day and competed to see who could get the most guessing games right.
What an awesome RAK. Count me in!

When I was young, my friends and I used to play The Price is Right when we were camping. Usually the golf game because we had plastic golf clubs. And Let's Make a Deal. Fun times.
Friends of my parents go to California every year for a few months and go the show taping at least once while they're there. One year, they were right behind contestants row so it was cool watching and seeing someone you knew through the whole show.

I watched TPIR all the time. Well...when I was growing up and during school breaks. I miss Bob and the old models, like Holly and Jan. Did I just prove myself old? LOL!

ahhh, TPIR...so many great memories. it just isn't the same without Bob though. i loved the putting green game and he would always sink it. i always like when the older contestants get on there and win big. makes me feel so good!

I was a big fan in my younger days. I always loved when the prize was A NEW CAR!(you need to say that like the announcer to get the full effect ; ) ) I think my favorite game was either Plinko or the yodeling one (can't remember the name). Great RAK Alex. Thanks for offering it. BTW I was one of the unfortunate 9 who's kits went up in smoke, too. Sad day...but SC is still the greatest!

That is so crazy about your kit. Sounds like a good scrap page.

Plinko. Hand's down.
I really liked the yodeling guy, though. Such tension!

Love the price is right. But since I started working "office hours" I must say it's been years since I watched it. But it's an exciting game. Sorry about your SC kit :o(

Don't enter me in the drawing, just wanted to leave you a comment.
Gosh, Fire?? I though it was drowned in the midwest, but instead it caught fire? I have goose bumps, that's crazy, and I hurt for you girl I do. Hugs.

I remember once I guessed the exact price of one of the grand packages. I still brag about it (obviously).
Your pack there reminds me of the oil cloth I see from Mexico (as opposed to the stuff from the Northeast, which use a different color palate designs). I bet you could incorporate it in your scrapping.

I love TPIR. But I have to say, I'd rather have been on the show when Bob was there. It's not the same without him :)
Cute kit. I've never heard of this kit club before. I'll have to add it to my list!
